9th photo. Table Rock Lake, MO.
The 10th was of a used car lot with 5 pristine old Jeep Grand Wagoneers. I thought about rounding up and posting that one.

To be fair, quite a lot of the pictures are of the Cougar. Either that or my kid playing hockey.

9th photo...paving crew in my city doing what the pre-distressed crews do in a designer jeans factory. They are taking out the paved over tree branches/garbage...I mean formwork for the premium, designer streets. Pave some character into your neighborhood! The cracks and holes of old pavement made new!

I just came up with a business idea.. Used car lots that let you use your car as collateral for posting bail. Buy Here Pay Here Bail Here! You could also make payday loans and go full scumbag.

It’s like a Miata only for the Head Chefs of fine crystallized meth. If Gordon Ramsey cooked the crystals, He’d import a fine sun-kissed Pontiac Aztek from the great state of New Mexico.

Some much-needed context:
I spent the last few days working 12 hour shifts in a hospital to help them with converting to my company’s software. The people in my assigned unit already had a pretty good grasp on it so there were several lulls in activity during the day. Their water/ice machine was broken, so they had this sitting around.
There’s a psychological experiment around produce in grocery stores that eventually came to mind. Basically, if you have one basket with one or just a few pieces of fruit, totally free of flaws, next to another basket of the same fruit of similar or lesser quality, the single/few fruits will be MUCH less likely to get picked. This is part of the reason why produce sections almost always have their shelves stuffed with product. People will just subconsciously assume that there’s something wrong with the remainders of a near-empty basket and be hesitant to grab from it, regardless of the actual quality of its contents.
I basically got to watch this play out with water bottles, which I found to be particularly amusing at hour 10 of 12 on day 4 of 4. I know the “one” type was an offbrand and the “full” type was a well-known brand, but I figured the additional work associated with grabbing from the mostly-intact packaging would even things out. I watched the “full” type go from an entire package down to about 1/3 before the “one” was grabbed. The picture was snapped for the sake of my fiance, who told me about the produce experiment in the first place.
